The lower backs most dangerous exercise

What is the most dangerous exercise in the gym for your lower back? It is the seated leg press. This position puts our lumbar spine into flexion and compression. These mechanicst put the disc at great risk to bulge or herniate. The safe way to squat is in a  vertical position either loaded or unloaded.
